At CrossFit Brendale, our mission is to create an environment that is both inclusive and welcoming for all who choose to join us. Located on the vibrant north side of Brisbane, we pride ourselves on providing premium coaching services, making high-quality fitness accessible to all, regardless of skill level or experience. Our 'Fitness for All' mantra is not just a catchy slogan but a commitment we uphold all year round. We are passionate about helping our members to not only become stronger and faster but also to be smarter in their training. We believe that with the right guidance and support, everyone has the potential to exceed their fitness goals and to adopt a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Be Coachable

We leave our egos at the door. Having a growth mindset and being open to feedback and guidance from coaches allows us to learn how to improve our daily movement inside and outside the gym, and we are open to learning and trying new things. We are approachable, respectable and willing to put in the effort to improve ourselves.


COMMANDMENTS

INTRODUCE YOURSELF. The thing we love about our gym is that it’s our family. If you’re new, introduce yourself to others. If you’re a veteran, introduce yourself to the newbies.

BE EARLY – CLASS STARTS ON TIME. It's better to be 10 minutes early than 1 minute late. If you're late to class, don't worry. Simply excuse your tardiness to the coach and catch up.

INFORM THE COACH. About your injuries, when you have to leave a class, or when other important things are happening. If you’re uncomfortable discussing these issues openly, please speak with your private coach before signing up for a class.

RESPECT THE EQUIPMENT. Always lower weights with control, never kick or throw around equipment and always follow the coach’s instructions on how to properly use equipment.

CLEAN UP YOUR STUFF. Brush your chalk off the barbell, clean up your sweat, put the jump rope back where you found it, and wipe your blood, sweat and tears off whatever you use.

BAG YOUR DEVICES. You can stare at a screen all day long, but not during class. Leave your phone, tablet, and other devices in your bag until the class is over.

WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER. The workout isn’t over until the last person is done. Cheer on your fellow members before you clean up.

RESPECT THE COACH. During class, the coach is boss. Have an issue? Take it up with the coach outside class time. We’re open to feedback!

LEAVE YOUR DRAMA AT THE DOOR At the box, we’re all athletes. Don’t bring drama inside, just lift and run!

LEAVE YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR. Somewhere out there a high school kid is warming up with your PR.
